A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported the 29th Annual Calgary Open Dance Competition and made it an outstanding success! From the judges, volunteers, emcee, scrutineer, music directors, coaches, competitors and spectators, this event would not have been possible without each and every one of you. It was amazing to see everyone from new to familiar faces, we truly felt the strong sense of community and camaraderie with dance connecting us all together.
We are so appreciative of all the incredibly talented competitors who graced the dance floor with your captivating routines, mesmerizing everyone in attendance. We extend our utmost gratitude to the incredible audience with your cheers, applause, and words of encouragement providing an electrifying atmosphere. To our emcee, scrutineer, and esteemed panel of judges, we extend our deepest appreciation for your expertise. Lastly to all our dedicated volunteers, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes, your selflessness and commitment was integral to making this event run so smoothly.

Pro/Am and Amateur competitors of all levels and ages are welcome to register. Featuring the Calgary Open 2024 Latin & Standard Dancesport Championships. We want to provide an event where dancers can showcase their talent, hard work and love of dance.

Saturday Full Day Ticket / Competitor Pass: $60.00 ($45.00 for 12 and under)
Saturday Daytime Only Admission Ticket: $25.00 ($10.00 for 12 and under)

Our event will be held at the MacEwan Ballroom, which is located on the 3rd floor of MacEwan Hall on the University of Calgary campus. Please leave extra time to find the event location and parking. Parking will be available at a cost.
